About Flock of Light
Suspension lamp Flock of Light captures the most magical moment between day and night. Studio Toer, renowned for their interactive light installations, created their first design for Moooi from an art installation. With Flock of Light, they developed an artistic design piece suitable for any home and space. Flock of Light is available in three sizes, 11, 21, and 31, after the amount of light sources.
The Button
Every Flock of Light is accompanied by Moooi’s digital proof of authenticity: The Button. This personal safe-keeper accompanies every Moooi design. The incorporated NFC- technology in The Button makes counterfeiting impossible and acts as proof of authenticity. By introducing The Button in our designs, we make our support in original design tangible.

About the designer
Studio Toer is a Dutch multidisciplinary design collective with a strong exploratory and experimental approach. Founded in 2011 by Castor Bours (1984) and Wouter Widdershoven (1986); their work pushes both the technical and aesthetic limits of design within the world of applied arts. They create innovative light objects & installations and interactive experiences. An evolutionary element and suggestion of movement ever-present in all their projects.
Studio Toer received worldwide attention for their interactive installations: Cumulus, an autonomous parasol that inflates into a cloud-like shape with solar energy; Fiet, a kinetic light sculpture that reacts to changes in its environment; and Shaped by Time, a clock that forms itself over time. Studio Toer’s projects were on view at countless international festivals and are visible worldwide.
